Brant Gilmer

 

Brant Gilmer is one of the few today that I would consider to be like an old time figure maker. He does it all from carving the wood, installing the mechanics and painting the figure when completed. This is an example of a McElroy style done by Brant.

He is about 15 years old and has the following functions. Slot jaw, side to side self centering eyes, raising eyebrows, winker / blinkers, and upper lip smile. All of Brant's mechanics are direct linkage done in brass. A great creation.
