Theodore Mack and Sons

 

Theodore Mack and Sons were furniture builders in the Chicago area but produced a whole line of puppets and ventriloquist figures which were used by most of the very early ventriloquists early 20th century. Frank Marshall got his start with them and went on to be the most celebrated figure maker of the 20th century. The following are a few examples of the Mack's work.
